About My Clients
My clients are adults; individuals & couples. They are ready to do some work on themselves and create real change. I work with those who have a history of trauma that is still affecting them. Often unhealed trauma shows up as anxiety and depression, plus difficulty in relationships. I also work with folks who are non-mono, poly, and /or kinky. My clients are open to trying new techniques and solutions. They come to me after trying many things that didn't get them where they want to be.
My Background and Approach
As both a Psychotherapist and Sex and Relationship Coach, I will provide you with many skills and tools that you can use to create the life you really want. I am very down to earth and people say I am calming to them. I use a method called Gentle Reprocessing to help you heal anything from the past that is still affecting you negatively today. We pull that stuff, together, out by the roots. In addition, I have dozens of tools to help you deal with your everyday experiences. I am very action oriented and solution-focused. I want to help you have lasting change in your life and relationships. I myself have healed from childhood trauma using Gentle Reprocessing, and it has changed my life. I used to suffer from depression, anxiety, and heartache from dysfunctional relationships. No more! I also work with a lot of clients who are non-monogamous, polyamorous, and/or kinky. I've also been living in these lifestyles for the past decade.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we create our own lives through the power of our thoughts, and that if we can create something we don't like, that means we can choose again and create something we do like. I believe that our lives can be as good as we are willing to allow them to be. I have overcome many traumas and mental health challenges in my life and would love to help you do the same. I believe that we are all born perfect and innocent and that through our experiences as children and adults we often have "incorrect learning" about ourselves. Perhaps we think we are dumb, or not good enough, or there's just something unidentifiable wrong with us. These kinds of thoughts are all natural conclusions based on negative events in our lives, and they simply aren't true. I am also bi-sexual, non-monogamous, and kinky. I am spiritual but not religious. I honor all faiths as well as those that are agnostic and atheist. I support the LGBTQ community as well as the Black Lives Matter movement.
