About My Clients
I work with women who struggle with blended high/low self esteem. To the outside world, we are successful and have our shit together. Except we are masters at hiding pain. Inside, we have a black hole filled with guilt, shame, and feeling unworthy. We feel stress managing family, life, career, relationships, and don't feel good enough. We explore the beliefs and patterns that impact our daily life. The goal is to free ourselves from our past.
My Background and Approach
With 16 years in the field, I've specialized in developing high self esteem, managing stress, exploring emotions, processing trauma and PTSD. We carry trauma in our bodies. The body keeps score. From a young age, we learned self betrayal was pivotal to be worthy of love and to feel good enough. We didn't have a voice. My focus is repairing the damage due to past experiences and how it’s created a critical view to our own self. I utilize talk therapy, EMDR, somatic work and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Many of us have the insight and awareness, and still struggle. It’s because we were never taught how to process the emotion that lives in the body. I teach you to get out of your head, drop into your body and learn to be with the feelings. To heal trauma, change our negative beliefs, it’s important to feel the feelings. I guide you through this. My desire is to help you navigate this so you can go out and trust yourself to do it independently. My goal is for you to go live life!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the bravest people I meet in life are the ones I get to work with in therapy. It takes a ton of courage to be vulnerable, share what you feel and trust the process. Most of us come from families and experiences that have made us falsely believe we can’t trust others or ourselves. I create a safe space for you to be seen, heard and valued. There is no judgement with me. Show up as you are. There is only curiosity in discovering who you are as a person, understanding your story and what you need from me to begin the healing process. It’s a journey, not a destination. It’s important for me to share I am inclusive and support all communities. I don’t discriminate against anyone. We are not a good fit if your value system aligns differently in that regard.
