About My Clients
My clients are adults seeking clarity through psychological evaluation. Many need ADHD or mood assessments, disability evaluations, or forensic services such as parental fitness reviews. Others come for focused therapy around anxiety or stress. Most are professionals balancing work, family, or legal matters who value clear answers, cultural awareness, and practical recommendations they can use to move forward with confidence.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona, and authorized to practice in 40+ PSYPACT states. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology and bring experience from hospitals, medical centers, corrections, and consulting. These diverse settings help me understand the pressures adults face in work, relationships, and culture. My practice centers on psychological evaluations for ADHD, mood, disability, and legal concerns, designed to provide clear answers and practical recommendations. In therapy, I offer a small number of slots for adults managing anxiety, stress, and life transitions. My approach integrates CBT for symptom relief, Interpersonal therapy for relationships, Narrative therapy for meaning-making, and Feminist therapy for addressing identity, culture, and systemic stressors. Clients can expect a collaborative space where symptoms improve, insight deepens, and resilience grows.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy and assessment should both empower people, not pathologize them. My work is grounded in the belief that symptoms make sense in the context of life stories, cultural identities, and systemic stressors. I see each client as the expert on their own lived experience, while I bring tools — CBT, Interpersonal, Narrative, and Feminist approaches — to help reduce distress, clarify patterns, and build resilience. I value cultural humility, collaboration, and practical outcomes that help clients move forward with confidence and self-trust.
