My Background and Approach
I utilize a person-centered approach with a trauma focused lens tailored to the unique needs of each client providing skills to address immediate need while exploring underlying contributing factors. I am trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety (SS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), problem-solving therapy (PST), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and structured psychotherapy for adolescents with chronic stress (SPARCS). I am dedicated to addressing life transitions, behavior issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and dysfunctional communication patterns to activate resilience by creating a warm, attentive, and safe space to heal.
