About My Clients

I specialize in and have extensive experience working with neurodiverse populations, bringing both a deep appreciation and personal understanding to my practice. I am particularly passionate about supporting parents whose children exhibit Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and intense behaviors. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in working with teenagers and adolescents, helping them navigate their unique challenges.

My Background and Approach

As an educational psychologist, I understand the academic and social demands that students face across various age levels. Individuals do not simply outgrow brain-based disabilities; mental wellness often depends on timely and effective intervention. Youth may struggle in school for a multitude of reasons, and I am passionate about helping families identify the underlying issues and determine the best course of action. For adult evaluations, I take great satisfaction in assisting individuals to gain deeper insights into themselves, their challenges, and how to improve their functioning in work or college settings. I offer individual therapy for youth and young adults, and parent coaching for families. My neuroaffirming interventions are based on neuroscience, CBT, ACT, and child-caregiver attachment principles.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am dedicated to neuroaffirming care and approaches in all my practices. I firmly believe in the statement, "Children do better if they can." If your child is experiencing challenges in meeting educational or social demands, I am here to help you understand and address these issues. For adults, evaluations can be crucial in clarifying challenges that were never fully addressed in childhood or in providing updated documentation for previously diagnosed disorders. My evaluations are designed to offer insights and actionable steps for overcoming these challenges. I am passionate about the evaluation process and strive to provide parents and individuals with a comprehensive blueprint for achieving success and wellness.
