My Background and Approach
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Intern at Capella University, working under supervision as I complete my degree. I offer affordable telehealth sessions for individuals and couples across Texas. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from person-centered, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, existential, and holistic practices to support clients in managing stress, improving relationships, and building coping skills. Together, we create a supportive space to explore life’s challenges, find meaning, strengthen resilience, and move toward growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
believe that everyone has the ability to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives. I don’t believe that struggles or diagnoses define who we are. They are challenges we can learn to navigate and overcome. Many of the patterns we struggle with are learned, which means they can also be unlearned and replaced with healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and living. My own journey with anxiety has taught me the power of therapy, and I bring that understanding and empathy into the work I do with clients. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can explore your story, build resilience, and discover your strengths. I welcome and affirm people from all backgrounds and communities, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen, valued, and understood.
