About My Clients
My work focuses on assisting my clients identify their feelings and emotions, build self-esteem, self-awareness, self-management and confidence, in order for them to reach their highest potential. My past pre-teen and adolescents clients who have had difficulty managing symptoms of ADHD, anxiety and depression have been able to successful learned different tools that have helped them succeed on an individual and academic level.
My Background and Approach
I have 6 years of experience working with a wide variety of pre-teens and adolescents in a clinical and school-based setting. I am able to provide an empathic and emotionally safe environment where my clients are able to discuss their challenges but also feel supported on working on their day-to day struggles. My work focuses on assisting my clients identify their feelings and emotions, build self-esteem, self-awareness, self-management and confidence, in order for them to reach their highest potential. I believe that my clients thrive the most when there is a collaborative support between myself, the client, and their families. My work consists of providing support for the client as well as giving families tools they could practice within the home in order to encourage them to continue their work both in therapy and in the home life.
