My focus is working with individuals who are struggling due to past traumatic/painful events (sexual trauma, domestic violence, cultural violence, childhood trauma) and/or struggling with their sexual or gender identity.
My Background and Approach
Life can make you feel stressed, overwhelmed, and leave you with little energy for yourself. Therapy can be a place where you can get the support to navigate life and grow. I believe that sometimes we need some help to manage so that we can live healthier lives. I am a licensed bilingual queer therapist that specializes in helping individuals process past trauma, manage depression and anxiety, improve self-esteem and explore identity issues. I work with the LGBTQ+ and Latinx community and BIPOC. Together we can work on developing a plan that works best for you to help you achieve your goals. We can identify challenges that have impacted you, learn to heal and move forward stronger, healthier and more confident. My goal is to support you and hold space for you. I use different approaches in therapy including EMDR, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy to support your journey. You can reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.
