I specialize in treating those who identify as Latina women struggling to create a life-work-career-balance, family systems and individuals navigating intergenerational trauma, parenting, boundary work, and anxiety. My approach is compassionate, and client centered. My Background and Approach
My experience includes treating family systems/individuals navigating intergenerational trauma, parenting, emotional dysregulation, women issues, & work with members of the neurodivergent community. My approach is eclectic, compassionate, and client centered. I provide you with a safe place to discover how you can use your strengths and resilience to better manage stressors. I meet you where you are in your life journey and encourage you to move at a pace that is comfortable for you. I utilize DBT, CBT, and a myriad of approaches to help you become the most authentic and empowered version of yourself possible. My therapeutic style has been known to empower individuals to reach their full potential. Common goals clients achieve in therapy include: • Making positive, healthy changes in behavior increasing desirable outcomes. • Addressing root causes of stress and difficult emotions to regain control of our behavior. • Improving communication of feelings, wants, and needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a bilingual LCSW with over 10 years of experience working in the human services field; focusing on mental health, behavior, and non-profit work. I was born in Mexico, grew up in Los Angeles, Ca., completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY., and currently reside in Ocala, Fl. I have had the opportunity to live in several communities across the United States providing me with the opportunity to better understand the importance of environment to client needs and growth opportunities. I value equality, independence, acceptance, balance, dependability, diversity, privacy, and professionalism. These values shape who I am as a provider, and they have guided me in becoming the person I am today. This lense guides my work and it allows me to cultivate a safe and accepting space for my clients.
