About My Clients
Maybe, you’ve struggled to shape your identity. You’ve challenged societal expectations, rejected toxic dynamics, and forged a path that truly reflects who you are. But despite your progress, there’s still a sense of incompleteness. My Background and Approach
I practice integrative therapy which is an individualized, holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools. Some therapeutic theories that I like to pull from include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Feminist Theory, Trauma Focused, Humanistic, Multicultural, and Family Systems Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being a bi+ clinical associate therapist isn't just a job title for me; it's a big part of who I am and something I take immense pride in. Embracing my bisexual identity has been a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Navigating life as a bi+ person involves challenging stereotypes and misconceptions, both in society and within the LGBTQ+ community itself. It's about constantly affirming the validity of your identity in a world that sometimes tries to erase it. In my therapy practice, I'm dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, especially those who identify as bi+. Visibility and representation matter, especially in mental health care where stigma can still linger. Being a bi+ clinical associate therapist isn't just about the work I do; it's about being part of a community striving for greater visibility, acceptance, and equality.
