About My Clients
My clients may desire a faith based perspective to manage their emotions, solve problems, and increase their understanding of themselves and our world. Clients with autism and developmental disabilities are looking for ways to feel empowered and to learn to advocate for themselves. All clients are interested in ways to improve their self concept, self advocacy, emotional regulation, and want to heal in all areas. Healing is possible and I believe I can help!
My Background and Approach
specialize in working with individuals with disabilities and their family. I am passionate about working with the Autism population. I also support individuals dealing with anxiety and relationship issues, providing a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. Whether you're seeking guidance for yourself or support in advocating for a loved one, I’m here to help you navigate the journey. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, helping individuals build the skills and resilience they need to thrive . I believe that true growth comes from both support and challenge, so I gently push my clients to step outside their comfort zones while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploration and healing. When desired, I can integrate Christian approaches into therapy, incorporating faith-based perspectives to support healing and personal growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold Christian beliefs and I believe that God can heal you where you are hurting. I also understand the pressures of the secular world in which we leave. I believe that everyone is created for a purpose and finding your purpose can unleash empowerment. I do not think anyone is beyond repair. Everyone is worthy of love, respect, and feeling like they are a valued part of the world around them.
