So much of what we do is stored in our bodies. I want to help you learn and heal the ways that depression, trauma, and anxiety are stored in your body. I am also trained in Somatic Attachment Focused (S.A.F.E) EMDR, which is a trauma processing therapy with an attachment and body focused approach.
So many great things to say about mindfulness. This is a great way to see how emotions show up in your body, learn to separate from them, and learn to get more enjoyment and energy out of life and stop "going through the motions."
This is one of my favorite approaches. I find that it is helpful for a variety of issues, including depression and anxiety. I also reach towards IFS and parts work when doing trauma work and inner child work.
Using trauma-informed stabilization, I help clients learn to feel grounded and safe in the present and in their bodies. I also can help you process traumatic experiences so they are no longer pulling you back into the past.
I view anxiety as being a 2-part issue: the physical symptoms of anxiety that are so uncomfortable, and the anxious thoughts that tear through your mind. Using cognitive and somatic approaches, I can help you find relief from both sides of anxiety.
Are you experiencing low desire, painful sex, or just want to learn more about your sexuality? I am here to help you explore and find solutions to these problems.
