About My Clients
In my work with clients, I utilize Internal Family Systems, Trauma Informed Stabilization, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I hope to help clients achieve a sense of well-being, safety, and empowerment.
My Background and Approach
I earned my MSW in 2017 from the University of Michigan and received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. I hold a certificate in Sexual Health, focusing on Sex Therapy, from the University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program. I have extensive training in complex trauma, and enjoy taking trauma-informed and somatic approaches with clients. If you love IFS and inner child work, you will also find that I love that as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring a personal touch to my therapy, and I try to create a warm, welcoming, and humorous environment. I like to take the time to get to know my clients, and to let them be themselves. I believe in helping people reach their best selves by fostering independence, personal growth, increased self-worth, insight, and acceptance. I really value taking a collaborative approach to therapy with my clients, and strive to help clients feel seen, heard, and respected.
