About My Clients
Do you or your child struggle to put feelings into words? Maybe your child’s big emotions show up as meltdowns or anxiety, or as a teen or young adult, you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Trauma and anxiety can be hard to explain, which is why I bring in play, art, and sandtray to help. Together, we’ll create a space where healing feels natural, beyond just words, so you or your child can move towards balance.
My Background and Approach
I integrate play, art, and EMDR to help clients process emotions and past events. My goal is to provide tools that foster healing—whether that’s through movement, creativity, or structured techniques. In our work together, we’ll start by building a sense of safety and connection, ensuring that therapy feels like a space where you or your child can explore without pressure. Through play therapy, younger clients can express what’s hard to put into words. For teens and young adults, we can explore creatively or take a more traditional talk approach. When appropriate, I incorporate EMDR for all ages. Together we will explore what works best for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be inclusive, collaborative, and flexible. Healing isn’t about fitting into a mold, it’s about finding what works for you. I create a space where you or your child can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to conform. I also recognize that we don’t exist in a vacuum. Systems of oppression impact mental health in so many ways. My goal is to support you in discovering what healing and growth look like on your terms, with curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
