About My Clients
I am pleased to support a variety of clients: folks interested in looking at intergenerational trauma, sex workers, members of the kink community, those with a history of trauma/abuse, Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), other healers, people with curiosity to engage with their inner parts, members of the queer community, the spiritually/religiously wounded, those interested in diving deeper, & those struggling with codependent relationships.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, person-centered, non-pathologizing, and operates in the here-and-now. I am in intuitive empath and offer a strengths-based perspective. I moved to Portland from New Orleans, LA about 5 years ago in search of new opportunities and a deeper connection with wild spaces. I have a background in embodiment practices, comedy/theater, energy work, creativity, and personal struggles that make me the unique healer I am today. Providing mental health services to the community has been a part of my life for the past 4.5 years. I received by BS in Psychology from Tulane University and my MA in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. I interned for 9 months on the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) specialty team at the Portland VA Hospital where I served Veterans with PTSD and a variety of other mental health issues. I worked for 1.5 years with children & teens in crisis on a children's inpatient psychiatric unit in New Orleans.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a believer that we are collectively experiencing trauma at a mass level and that we are in need of healing now more than ever. I support the POC community, folks with disabilities, trans/nonbinary folks, the Black Lives Matter movement, prison abolition, the fat community, among other marginalized and oppressed groups. I believe that America should pay reparations to BIPOC. I am a believer that sex work IS work, that evidence based science has an important place in our field, and that magic and ancient healing rituals are just as legitimate.
