About My Clients
For the last 10 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families both in community mental health and in private practice settings. I work with clients experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, who are experiencing grief and loss, change and transition, and I work with clients navigating relationships and family dynamics either in individual therapy or through couples and family work. I am able to work with clients in both Pennsylvania and in West Virginia.
My Background and Approach
I approach you as unique, and so, utilize a variety of evidence based modalities to meet you where you are and to help you achieve what you are looking for. I am certified in Eco Systemic Structural Family Therapy-and utilize EFT for Couples, modalities that aim to improve communication, repair hurt, connect more deeply, and change patterns that keep conflict and arguments going. In individual therapy, I utilize these same modalities to help us understand you in context of your larger system, family, and environment, and additionally utilize EFIT, CBT, attachment theory, and mindfulness skills depending upon your goals and intentions. I see you, your relationship or family in context of your larger system and life story, and I believe this allows us to work together in a way that is holistic and encompassing of who you are.
