My Background and Approach
With a background in community mental health, I have experience working with teens and adults to develop the tools to manage anxiety and depression. My goal is to create an environment that directly addresses your unique needs and desires for therapy. This is a collaborative, empowering space where I encourage clients to own their wisdom while I offer skills, tools, and opportunities to discover what makes you feel like your best self. As an art therapist, I integrate the creative process through artmaking and journaling when it aligns with the needs of the client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a white, queer therapist I strive towards cultural humility in all aspects of my practice. I have experience working with teens and adults with a wide array of identities and believe providing LGBTQ+ affirming care is crucial to my role as a therapist.
