About My Clients
Having a difficult time shutting your mind off at night? When was the last time you felt refreshed and rested? Has the stress of life affected your relationships with your family as you have not been able to communicate what is really going on? It does not have to be this way as there are several ways therapy can help much faster than you think. I help those who are open to using somatic and embodied experiences to connect to others and who are motivated to grow and expand in their lives.
My Background and Approach
As an experienced Licensed and Marriage and Family Therapist, I have the skills to and training to be able to support you where you are in your journey. Sometimes one session is all some individuals or couples need to spark the change in their lives and others times the connections I create with clients last for years. This is where you get to decide how I can best help you as therapy is a collaboration. My focus is on treating anxiety and stress and helping individuals and couples find ways to be more connected in their body, more rested when they are awake, and more present in their day to day interactions with others. I am able to meet people where they are at and whether that means coming in as an individual, couple or a mixture of both. Anxiety, stress, and past traumas will affect our relationships as others in our lives often do not know how to best help and support. Being able to change our patterns in our lives and create balance is the best gift you can give yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to supporting small business and local business owners in my community as I love to "vote with my dollar". I believe that we all need to help and support one another to create the community that we want to be a part of. There are so many topics and areas of concern in our world today which can easily feel overwhelming and add to a sense of helplessness. I believe that through small mindful acts of service and changes in our daily habits that we can live authentic and create a kinder, gentler world for all. I believe that slowing down and connecting with those in our communities is the way of out of our loneliness epidemic. Come explore natural ways to feel more connected in your life. I am supportive of the queer community, local yoga centers, and other wholistic healers as I work towards a more inclusive community.
