About My Clients
I have seven years counseling experience working with elders (65+), female and male adults, teens, pre-teens, and children. My focus is primarily on anxiety, depression, past trauma and abuse issues, transitions, domestic violence, grief/loss, and spirituality
My Background and Approach
My counseling style is eclectic drawing from a variety of therapeutic and evidence based orientations including, but not limited to the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) w/Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I can provide an atmosphere of genuine care and support backed by professional training and experience to help you address those issues which you have not been able to resolve on your own. I will provide the space where you can feel fully heard and accepted, but also challenged and empowered to take steps toward your healing and change. I have found counseling to be beneficial in my own life and find it a privilege to share in your journey of becoming “unstuck” so that you can experience greater joy and healthier relationships. You can face the past and meet life’s challenges with courage, vitality and resiliency.
