About My Clients

My clients often feel anxious, overwhelmed, isolated, or judged. They might be grieving, navigating substance use, or moving through major life changes. They may feel stuck and tired of carrying everything alone. A deep well of strength lives within them, even if it’s hard for them to feel it. In a space of presence and non‑judgment, that inner wisdom begins to reawaken and guide them. This is the space I’m committed to holding for every client.

My Background and Approach

I’ve worked in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adults with substance use and co‑occurring mental health challenges in both individual and group settings. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and strengths based, with sessions tailored to your goals and needs. You may seek a compassionate space where your grief can be witnessed without pressure to fix it. At other times, we may use somatic and mindfulness tools to increase awareness and resilience; DBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support emotional regulation and flexible responding; or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift patterns that contribute to distress. I also draw heavily from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you relate more compassionately to protective and vulnerable parts of your inner world and strengthen access to your authentic self. I strive for you to feel increasingly empowered, self‑accepting, hopeful, and resilient.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Challenging emotions like sadness, fear, grief, and loneliness are part of being human, yet they often feel heavier in a culture that teaches us we’re separate—separate from each other, from our bodies, and from our own needs. When we’re taught to hide or pathologize these feelings, it’s easy to believe something is wrong within us instead of recognizing the harm of the systems and expectations we’ve absorbed. I hold a deep belief that your emotions are not evidence of “brokenness” but signs of your humanity and your longing for connection. In our work together, I offer a safe, compassionate space where every part of you can be met with curiosity rather than judgment.
