About My Clients
I work with couples who feel stuck in painful cycles of conflict, disconnection, or unresolved hurt, yet still long for a deeper, more secure relationship. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT), with a Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Kansas State University. My approach is attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and grounded in emotion and somatic awareness. I help couples and individuals understand the deeper emotional wounds, unmet needs, and protective patterns shaping their relationships. In couples therapy, we work to slow reactive cycles, repair emotional injuries, rebuild trust, and create secure connection. In individual therapy, I support healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, and painful relational experiences. I believe lasting change begins with understanding and transforming the patterns that once protected us but now keep us stuck.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe humans are wired for connection. We are a bonding species, with an innate need to feel safe, loved, valued, and understood. Our relationships shape how we experience ourselves and the world, and many patterns that cause us pain today began as adaptations that once helped us survive and stay connected. I believe no one is broken and that understanding the emotions, attachment needs, and protective responses beneath our behaviors opens the door to healing and lasting change. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, discovering cozy coffee shops with good coffee and pastries, and traveling to experience different cultures, traditions, and perspectives.
