About My Clients
I have extensive experience helping clients to cope with life transitions, parenting, relationships, anxiety, depression, and career decisions. I have a specific expertise in supporting parents of neurodivergent children to manage the demands of parenting while also maintaining a space for self.
My Background and Approach
I take a strengths-based, practical approach in sessions, and bring a balance of humor, respect, and compassion to my work. Together, we will explore your experiences and patterns so that you can make key changes in your life. I listen with curiosity and nonjudgemental support to help you identify your goals for therapy. I have many years of experience working with college students and young adults, and I truly enjoy the process of helping people to understand how to get the most out of their relationships, work, and experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is built on the idea that a humble, non judgemental approach is most important in understanding others. While I may share experiences or backgrounds with some of my clients, even those with similar backgrounds have different perceptions and meanings attached to those experiences. I think it's most important that each person feels safe sharing their own perspective and the meaning that they make of their experiences. I look forward to learning new things from each client, and hearing about the unique way that they see the world.
