My Background and Approach
I understand that therapy is different for every individual based on unique goals, needs, and circumstances. I use an integrative and collaborative approach to treatment that combines techniques and interventions that are best suited for you. Some modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and my Master’s of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. With a specialization in clinical forensic social work, I have diverse and valuable experiences in working at the intersection of mental health and law. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and have worked with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance use issues and disorders. I also focus on health and wellness as a Registered Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master.
