About My Clients
I love working with fellow queer folks on a whole range of issues, including how family of origin systems impact current daily living, romantic and intimate relationship issues, trauma recovery, and general anxiety and depression challenges. I love connecting with clients who are ready and motivated for change and growth, and who are open to building insight and trying new things to alleviate symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters degree from Montana State, focusing on marriage, couples, and family therapy, and I am an LPC in Oregon. My background includes working with people in inpatient settings, people surviving domestic violence and sexual assault, and people in rural communities. In addition to my private practice, I work concurrently at Quest Center for Integrative Health, where I work with many people from the queer community, people living with HIV, people in recovery, and people living with chronic pain. I have training in EMDR, which I use often. I like using an approach that is relationship-centered, as I find that clients experience the change that they want when we feel connected.
