About My Clients
I help those seeking support and guidance for the first time to feel more empowered and less guilt and shame for making the choice to care and honor yourself and space. This may be you as a child of immigrants, service member or family member, health care professional, or first time therapy seeker. I recognize that seeking therapy and professional support can be intimidating. I invite you to bring all of your identities and parts to our meetings where we can honor and explore them at your pace.
My Background and Approach
As a holistic therapist striving to decolonize mental health treatment and healing, I incorporate an ethical framework of psychotherapy, spiritual and ancestral healing to encourage optimal changes in the mind, community, body, and spirit. In this collaborated partnership, we will find the best tools that works for you to optimize your well-being, mental health, and resiliency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My lived experience as a First Generation American, mother, military veteran, and military spouse, alongside my formal education, training, and clinical knowledge allows me to support and guide in a meaningful way where you feel validated and heard. In my practice, your voice is priority and you are the expert of your life and experiences. My role is to hold a non-judgmental space for you and encourage insight and self-awareness to promote optimal healing.
