About My Clients
Whether you're navigating anxiety, communication issues, parenting stress, or feeling stuck and overwhelmed by transitions, I would like to walk alongside you. As someone of Indian origin, I bring personal and professional insight into the experiences of immigrants and first-generation individuals. I understand the complexities of acculturation stress, intergenerational conflict, and cultural identity, and I offer culturally sensitive therapy to help clients feel seen, respected, and supported.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and my approach is integrative, strength-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I employ an eclectic method to help clients navigate a wide range of emotional, relational, and life-stage transitions. I help my clients find their purpose by learning who they are, breaking down distortions, and building up self-esteem. As a South Asian therapist, I also bring lived experience and deep cultural insight to my work, particularly with immigrants, first-generation individuals, and people of color, navigating the unique pressures of acculturation, identity, and intergenerational relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in holistic healing and want to help individuals get to the root of the issues instead of just putting a Band-Aid on the issue. Being healed internally can lead to meaningful change in our relationships and how we show up in the world. If you're looking for a therapist who values cultural humility, collaborative growth, and real connection, I invite you to reach out. I'd be honored to support you.
