About My Clients

Many of my clients are thoughtful, creative, and highly capable—and deeply tired. They may be exploring late-identified ADHD, autism, or AuDHD; navigating queer, trans, or gender-expansive identity; or struggling with masking, burnout, relationships, parenting, and the pressure to appear “high functioning.” I also work with neurodivergent couples and polycules. You do not need a formal diagnosis or perfectly organized story to begin.

My Background and Approach

I am a Washington-licensed mental health counselor with an MA in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and more than 25 years of experience working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. My approach is relational, neuroqueer, expressive, and grounded in context. Therapy with me may include direct conversation, humor, movement, typing, art, metaphor, or camera flexibility. You will not be required to perform eye contact, stillness, regulation, or a perfectly organized account of your experience in order to be understood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I identify as neuroqueer: queer, gender-fluid, and neurodivergent. I believe people make sense in context and that difference is not pathology. My work is informed by disability justice, LGBTQIA+ and trans liberation, anti-racism, bodily autonomy, chosen family, and respect for consensual nonmonogamy. I do not believe regulation, productivity, conformity, or being easy to understand should be the price of belonging.
