About My Clients
A lot of my work is focused around self-esteem and self-worth with clients looking into identity exploration, family conflicts and social trauma. I have a few years of experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, relationship issues, life transitions and sexual behaviours. I work with BIPOC adults, women, immigrants, tech workers, lgbtq+ Bipoc individuals, folks in helping professions, and people who are first time in therapy.
My Background and Approach
I use a range of evidence based practices such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Theraoy (CBT) that help challenge beliefs about ourselves that are no longer serving us. I bring in self compassion in our work together by reframing our negative self talk. When important and relevant, I bring curiosity into our past life experiences and relationship with our caregivers to build insight on our attachment styles.
