Although we are inundated with cultural messaging about sex and relationships, most of us were not given the tools that allow us to connect to our partners or granted the space to freely explore the depths of our sexual selves. You deserve to feel understood, valued, and unburdened by shame. You deserve fulfilling relationships and an authentic intimate life.
My Background and Approach
Deciding to embark on the path of therapy, especially when it involves confronting sensitive issues like those related to sexuality, can be a significant and sometimes intimidating step. It's a process that demands opening up about your deepest thoughts and emotions to someone new. I understand the courage and vulnerability that this process entails. My core mission is to create a safe and empathetic space where you can freely share your concerns and emotions. I combine my academic foundation with the pursuit of modern research and training opportunities to ensure that the guidance I provide is rooted in evidence-based practices and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that feeling truly seen, when combined with an illumination of unhelpful patterns, sensible sex/psychoeducation, and a place to explore your concerns and feelings can promote growth, resilience and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe in the power of connection and relationships. To me, these are the very essence of our existence and are integral to our overall wellbeing. I believe that our sexuality is a fundamental aspect of who we are, and it plays a crucial role in our overall happiness and fulfillment. Unfortunately, societal norms and stigmas often lead to shame and discomfort, and I'm dedicated to helping individuals and couples explore and embrace their sexuality free from judgment or shame. I strongly support the LGBTQ+ community and believe in promoting equity and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. My goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients from all walks of life, where they can feel understood and valued for who they are. My mission is to empower individuals to live their lives authentically, and to support them on their journey towards healing and self-discovery.
