My Background and Approach

Initially, I worked as a hospice social worker supporting terminally ill patients and their families. I have extensive experience in grief and loss, chronic pain and illness and life transitions. I have training in CBT, ACT, trauma and various theoretical frameworks and practice in an eclectic style. Throughout my career as a social worker, I have gained invaluable experience supporting the needs of a diverse range of clients. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, career stress, women's issues, parenting stress, self esteem and relationship concerns. My goal is to help you transition from a place of struggle to a place of hope by providing a safe and comfortable environment to discuss these personal life challenges. I provide a warm and collaborative approach offering guidance, support, insight, and hope for a more meaningful life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Taking the first step and seeking help takes a lot of courage and can seem overwhelming. I am here to let you know you are not alone. I strive to meet everyone where they are in their life process and tailor my clinical skills to meet your needs. My dedication in finding balance in all aspects of one's life is something that I hope brings a calming spirit and encouraging attitude so that client's may feel safe in sharing their concerns with me. My role is to guide you back to your own inner strength, while also empowering you during the therapeutic process. This may look like exploring how you really feel, what your beliefs and values are, and continuing to support you in your motivation to complete your goals.
