About My Clients
I'm a good fit for clients who are ready to explore their thoughts, feelings, & behaviors & seek to take personal responsibility for their needs & relate to themselves & others. I specialize in helping heal from trauma. I have experience working with PTSD, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, building of social/communication skills, building healthy & effective boundaries & rewarding relationships. The ideal client would come to therapy to heal, move forward & grow to their full potential.
My Background and Approach
I use a variety of therapy modalities taking the individual need of the client into consideration. This includes utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and EMDR. I bring empathy, unconditional positive regard, compassion, and humor to each session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love helping others find peace, connection, confidence and meeting whatever goals they have for themselves. I find that through collaborative problem solving and lots of introspection, we can achieve change and acceptance. I'm here to listen and provide a safe and comfortable space for you to cultivate new ways to progress into who you've always wanted to be. In my personal life, I'm a huge sci-fi/fantasy nerd, a singer, writer and am obsessed with HGTV. I spend lots of time going on adventures with my beagle, involved with my church community and of course my family.
