About My Clients
Does it seem like your life is spiraling out of control? Are daily tasks and obligations becoming impossible to manage? Do you find yourself more distracted, annoyed, sad, crying more often, or even reverting to unhealthy ways of coping? Our clients call when they are on, or approaching the ledge. We help them regain mental and emotional stability and send them back into the world to live the better quality life that they deserve.
My Background and Approach
We provide adults with a safe space to find relief from distress, chaos, and judgement. We work with people who have never received mental health care before, people who have been in treatment for decades, and anyone in between. We help adults return to emotional equilibrium with assessment, psychoeducation, and medication management. We use a collaborative and solution focused approach that helps clients experience real life change for the better. After treatment goals are reached our clients call when something happens or for a mental health check up like they would with a primary care doctor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All lives cannot matter until Black lives matter. America's traumatic history continues to disproportionately affect Black individuals in areas such as (but not limited to) criminal justice, finance, education, housing, healthcare, and lifestyle. I am committed to removing the stigma associated with mental health in the Black and Latinx communities to bring generational healing.
