About My Clients
I work with individuals, caregivers, and families, especially of those with aging issues, Dementia (such as Alzheimer’s), cognitive impairment and caregiver burnout.
My Background and Approach
I love using my experience in mental health alongside care management for my clients as this can really help to close the gaps that we often face when trouble shooting problems. I provide mental health therapy along with care management which includes attending medical appointments, referrals and resources, communicating with families and providers, and patient advocacy. I have a holistic approach as I focus on the person as a whole to incorporate not just your diagnoses, but your environment as well. This is especially helpful for families who live far away from their loved one or are overwhelmed with the struggles of managing a loved ones care. Therapy can help seniors who feel isolated, depressed and caregivers to find coping skills with their, often, new role.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that God did not create us to live alone, and there is more joy in walking through these times with someone beside us. Life can feel overwhelming with new changes and diagnoses. My goal is for you to feel educated, empowered and walk away with new skills, to feel hope at the end of each meeting while we tackle the problems you are facing, together.
