About My Clients

Are you feeling emotionally drained from putting everyone before yourself? Are you having difficulty changing unhealthy patterns/habits? Are you experiencing more irritability, anxiety, or shame-based thinking? Do you have trouble taking time for yourself? Do you often feel isolated or stuck? These thoughts and behaviors can become our new "normal" and it can be challenging trying to navigate through life like this.

My Background and Approach

My belief is that everyone deserves to have a rich and meaningful life, and also understand that looks different person to person. I am here to help guide you in healing from past trauma, coping with difficult emotions, and setting boundaries that protect your inner peace. We will work collaboratively to address underlying symptoms that are causing unwanted suffering in your life, such as anxiety, depression, codependency, trauma, relationship and family conflicts, grief, stress, and self-esteem. We will explore what is going on in your brain and body when you feel emotionally dysregulated and how to feel more connected to different parts of yourself to find relief. I am passionate about helping people discover their authentic self, learning to practice kindness and compassion towards themselves along the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we are ever-evolving as human beings, which offers a strong sense of hope for change within ourselves. I think we develop maladaptive behaviors in adulthood as a means for survival from childhood experiences, and through a healing therapeutic relationship we can shift into living again. I have struggled with anxiety and panic attacks since childhood, finding healing came from within. I want you to feel the same freedom emotionally and mentally that I experience every day. I feel that being in nature can be the best form of medicine some days and nothing compares to floating down the river in a kayak, but I am accepting of all forms of self-care. I don't discriminate against anyone. I volunteered for the Suicide Hotline and Veterans Crisis Line during my time in undergrad. If you want to learn more about how I can help, send me a message.
