About My Clients
I work best with individuals facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and insomnia. My ideal client is ready to engage in a supportive, collaborative environment where we explore effective strategies for wellness. I serve adolescents and adults, helping them manage issues like addiction, anger, and bipolar disorder with tailored, patient-centered approaches.
My Background and Approach
As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring extensive expertise in psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and medication management. My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and PTSD, with experience across telehealth and in-person settings. In addition to patient care, I mentor nursing students and lead ScrubLife4Ever, a non-profit dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals and enhancing community wellness. My treatment approach is rooted in trauma-informed and patient-centered care, using methods like CBT, behavioral modification, and a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m passionate about improving mental health access and awareness. I value compassion, integrity, and a holistic approach, treating each client with respect and understanding. My non-profit work with ScrubLife4Ever supports healthcare workers, while my practice emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care. Believing in collaboration, I tailor treatment plans to fit each client’s needs and goals, fostering a safe, healing environment. Through community outreach, crisis management, and individualized treatment, I aim to create a positive impact on mental wellness in both individual lives and the broader community.
