About My Clients
I care deeply about people and know we can get stuck and lost in many different ways. Much of the time this is because of the natural tendencies of the brain, and the unhelpful things it has learned over time. Together we can learn how to use the minds potential for our benefit, and create more valuable ways of being with its imperfect nature.
My Background and Approach
I offer a compassionate and open space in which I take an experiential and neuroscience informed approach. My aim is to help you experience what it feels like to be curious and gracious with your humanity, to connect to and follow your values, and to navigate obstacles in useful ways. Through this intentional experiencing we open the mind to valuable neural change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all impact the world around us everyday whether we recognize it and do it intentionally or not. As we learn more about our minds and the ways they work, we can learn to work with them in more useful ways that lead us to more joyful and meaningful lives. In this way counseling expands our inherent impact in a positive way through the healing that comes from the continued exposure with connection, presence, compassion, and understanding.
