About My Clients
I know that each person is unique so I use multiple therapeutic modalities to individualize treatment in order to best meet each cIient's needs. I provide therapy for clients dealing with a variety of life’s challenges. These include anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, life transitions, trauma, low self-esteem and self-confidence, and unhealthy/dysfunctional relational patterns. I assist clients who seek to examine and/or better understand their purpose, identity, and sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, relational therapy, and mindfulness. I accept Premera Blue Cross, Lifewise, Wellspring EAP, Cigna as well as private pay.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand that placing one’s trust in a stranger with the most difficult and intimate parts of one’s life can be daunting and uncomfortable. Therefore, my aim as a therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental and inviting space where clients feel safe, accepted, seen, and heard through the expression of empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe in the restorative power of the therapeutic alliance so I focus on building a trusting relationship to encourage exploration, processing, learning, skill-building, and healing, thereby empowering clients to gain insight, self-awareness, and meaning in order to live their most fulfilling lives. I am passionate about my work and am honored to accompany and support you on your journey to becoming your best, most authentic self.
