About My Clients
Starting therapy can be overwhelming. My priority is to provide clients a safe, nonjudgemental space to be their most authentic selves. I am committed to challenging limiting beliefs, validating feelings and emotions, encouraging self-advocacy, by designing a unique approach that allows for healing through curiosity, humor and action.
My Background and Approach
My approach focuses on cultivating a trauma-informed safe, culturally affirming and nurturing space for clients of all intersectionalities to explore, situations or triggers from their past as well as the present that impact thoughts, behavior and reactions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an anti-oppressive, liberation based therapist, I operate from the belief that we cannot heal ourselves until we acknowledge systemic issues such as white supremacy, ableism, patriarchy, colonization and capitalism that impact us all and actively contribute to our mental stability, our relationship with our bodies, and our relationships to others.
