About My Clients
I'm a queer therapist working with adults of all genders (usually 24 yo and older). I specialize in integrative forms of healing so we'll use a variety of approaches tailored uniquely to you. I love supporting individuals through life transitions, relationship & family of origin issues, navigating ENM/polyamory, sexuality, gender and questioning, processing broader systems of oppression, grief, recovering from trauma and/or purity culture, addressing anxiety, depression and more.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a variety of treatment approaches, including IFS (Internal Family Systems body-based therapy, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy and other grounding techniques, and prioritizing a safe therapeutic relationship. I work from an attachment-based, relational, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed approach. My approach prioritizes collaboration, intuition, warmth, non-judgment, humor, authenticity, and empathy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is unequivocally based in principles of anti-oppression. I am passionate about working with queer folks and people who are questioning their sexuality, gender, or the structure of their relationship, however, I welcome folks who not identify as sexual or gender minorities. My background includes integrative, body-based therapy and my experience as an advocate in the fields of criminal justice, reproductive justice, and gender inequality. I know that finding a therapist who feels like a good fit can be hard, especially in this political and ecological moment. Together, we'll make space for the broader context & you. I love working with clients who are curious about themselves & want to engage in depth-oriented therapy.
