About My Clients

You’re capable and accomplished, yet your body stays on alert. Your chest tightens, your mind overthinks, and you replay conversations long after they’re over. You scan for tone shifts, feel responsible for other people’s moods, and struggle to relax. Feeling safe and “enough” stays just out of reach, like it has to be earned. Therapy can help you understand these survival patterns, heal what shaped them, and move forward with stronger boundaries, self-trust, and clarity.

My Background and Approach

I help adults heal from trauma and move forward with more clarity, steadiness, and self-trust. I’m EMDR Certified, and I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories and reduce the anxiety, hypervigilance, and emotional reactivity that trauma can leave behind. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for clients who feel stuck and are looking for a deeper, more transformational approach. My background includes work with homeless veterans, underserved communities, and urban professionals. Before becoming a therapist, I trained in architecture, and I still bring that mindset into the work: helping you envision what you want, create a collaborative roadmap, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. Sessions are grounded, supportive, and focused on helping you feel real movement at your pace. I bring a trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic lens to therapy, and I’m committed to providing culturally informed, affirming care.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe no one is broken and healing is possible. Many of the symptoms people struggle with make sense when we understand what they’ve lived through and what their nervous system learned it had to do to survive. Overthinking, shutting down, people-pleasing, or staying on alert aren’t character flaws. They’re adaptations. And with the right support, what was learned for survival can be gently unlearned and reshaped. I also believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical. I want you to feel understood, and I want you to feel movement. My goal is to help you build self-trust, set boundaries without guilt, and live in a way that’s aligned with your values rather than driven by fear. On a bigger level, I’m invested in this work because I believe individual healing creates ripple effects. When one person becomes more grounded and free, it strengthens their relationships and community. Healing ourselves is one meaningful way we help heal larger societal wounds.
