My Background and Approach
I completed a master’s degree in counseling and clinical health psychology in 2011 and a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2016. I received both from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have over a decade of experience providing individual therapy to adults and working in healthcare settings as a consultant to medical providers. I use evidence-based therapy approaches in a warm, non-judgmental and confidential setting. I provide therapy virtually to offer you flexibility and convenience. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. When appropriate, I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies to supplement our work. This approach is centered around applying specific strategies to your day to day life to move you toward your values and goals. Learn more about me and my practice at www.drhollandcbt.com
