About My Clients
Are you curious to understand more about "why" things are happening for you the way they are? Maybe why you're in a pattern of relationships that don't serve you, wondering why things feel so overwhelming all the time, or maybe wondering why you're having a hard time getting unstuck? Maybe you're ready for change but are unsure what that is. My clients often want to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply to take a more active role in living an authentic and fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I always start with where you're at and approach you from a non-judgmental, human to human, compassionate connection. I have a social work background that was highly informed by psychodynamic theories. So what does that mean? It is important for me to consider how your external environment impacts your internal experience. This includes, but is not limited to the systems, culture, and social environment that impacts identity, relational dynamics, and past and present experiences. I incorporate mindfulness, somatic work, attachment, relational, and practical tools into our sessions. I am curious, do a lot of listening, reflecting, and exploring of your beliefs, narratives, and relationships. My hope is you gain a sense of grounding within yourself and your community.
