About My Clients

- Ofrezco terapia Bilingüe- Español. I offer individual bilingual therapy (Spanish ). I have experience supporting people who are facing stress, going through life transitions and changes, people from different cultures who deal with acculturation challenges, struggling with depression and anxiety, or may be in pain after a loss.

My Background and Approach

I believe how we move through the world is directly connected to our most basic understanding of our selves, and the relationships and role models we have grown up with. I also believe our culture plays a significant role shaping our identity and the relationship with the context we live in. Beginning with this understanding, I utilize aspects of different therapeutic approaches to help clients create meaningful and positive changes to live a fuller life. My therapeutic style is collaborative, and incorporates warmth, humor, and honest feedback. I particularly enjoy helping others in the Latinx/Hispanic communities. I understand that seeking out therapy can be a vulnerable experience. Therefore, I offer a brief phone call to determine if my practice is a good fit for your needs. I welcome you to learn more about me and ask all the questions you might have. Please reach out via email or phone, whichever is most comfortable for you. I will reply by phone.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As someone who has moved through different cultures, I understand that when people feel honored and heard, they feel safe. And when they feel safe, they can look at their issues in a different way, creating space for change to take place. Inclusiveness and social justice are a fundamental part of my personal beliefs. They have been at the core of my professional and career choices, reflected by over 16 years of clinical experience (between Argentina and the United States) working with culturally diverse clients in a variety of settings, like community college counseling center, community based agencies, state prison, and academic setting.
