About My Clients
Some clients struggle with spiraling thoughts that take up hours of their day. Others find themselves straddling cultures and carrying a deep sense of responsibility in everything they do. And some are navigating past experiences that continue to shape their relationships. I help individuals and couples find clarity, create new possibilities, strengthen their sense of self, and build deeper connections with others.
My Background and Approach
Some areas of focus in my practice include: OCD, Anxiety, PTSD/complex-trauma, Neurodiversity (late diagnosis ADHD and Autism), Depression, Attachment, Anger, Conflict, Shame resilience, and Identity exploration. My practice is rooted in the understanding that not all struggles we face are in our minds. Historical and ongoing oppressive forces shape our lives and wellbeing. I draw on psychodynamic, relational, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches to offer tools, insight, and support.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be accessible and collaborative. I work with clients to develop goals and a treatment plan that fits their needs. I bring a warm and pragmatic approach to sessions. I offer space to reflect and process as well as structure or direction, depending on your needs. This might include client led sessions to explore and process or skills-building and following focused themes from week to week.
