About My Clients
You may feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles of pain, stress, or restless nights. Maybe insomnia or depression comes and goes, or perhaps it’s been part of your life for a long time. I specialize in helping adults navigate chronic pain, sleep issues, and stress because these challenges impact mood, work, and relationships. Using evidence-based therapy, I help clients find relief and build more ease and stability in daily life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with specialized training in chronic pain, insomnia, and stress management. My background includes experience in hospital-based clinics, VA healthcare, and private practice, where I’ve helped clients struggling with persistent pain, sleep disturbances, and overwhelming stress. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and pain management techniques to help clients break frustrating cycles and regain a sense of control. My approach is collaborative and practical—I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, supported, and equipped with real strategies that fit your life. I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy to meet clients where they are. Whether you’re dealing with ongoing challenges or just looking for better ways to manage stress, we’ll work together to create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be practical, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique experience. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to mental health, recognizing the deep connection between the mind and body—especially when it comes to chronic pain, sleep, and stress. I value inclusivity, accessibility, and the power of meaningful, well-supported change. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and strive to create a space where people feel truly seen and understood. I also believe in reducing stigma around seeking help—whether for pain, insomnia, or mental health—because everyone deserves support without shame or barriers. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and spending time with my family. I also love learning and continue to deepen my expertise in sleep science, chronic pain management, and behavioral health innovations to better serve my clients.
