About My Clients
Have you ever felt as though nobody understands your feelings, making you think something is wrong with you? Do you frequently experience shame or guilt about your actions? In times of grief, trauma, or anxiety, others can make us feel like our behavior is out of the ordinary, leading us to doubt every thought and decision. It is my hope to help you along this journey as you begin to explore and understand your mind and how your experiences have shaped you today.
My Background and Approach
The phrase 'one size fits all' isn’t always the best when it comes to therapy. Every person has their own unique mental health needs, and that's completely okay. My goal is to help each individual discover what works best for them on their personal journey. When we keep this in mind, we can work together to find the most supportive tools. Through my training, I've learned about many different techniques to help those dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. But one of the most valuable lessons I've found is that the client is the true expert in their own life. As a counselor, my role is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe and empowered to make their own decisions about their mental health.
