About My Clients
My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and authentic. I am deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults on their healing journeys. Guided by a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strength-based perspective, I help those navigating the challenges of trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, depression, and life transitions. While I may not be in your shoes, I understand what it’s like to feel sad, angry, or overwhelmed, and I am here to offer steadfast support.
My Background and Approach
I use EMDR to help clients process trauma and distressing memories by reprocessing them in a less distressing way. My person-centered talk therapy focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for growth and healing. For children, I use play therapy, allowing them to express emotions and process experiences through play, which feels natural and safe, supporting their emotional development. I received my master's degree in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I hold a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology and communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I'm basic trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
