About My Clients
I specialize in helping college students, young adults, and teens learn how to "adult" with confidence. Trying to balance work, school, social life, chores, self-care and all the things while also trying to sleep 8 hrs a night, eat healthy, work out, and figure out your future... This can feel so overwhelming to where you find yourself overthinking everything, struggling with motivation, and doubting yourself. You don't have to keep struggling all by yourself, I can help you!
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy focuses on collaborating with you so we can work together to help you find a balance and figure out this adulting stuff. Through the therapy process you will find clarity, direction, and purpose. During therapy we will talk, laugh, and maybe even cry, as we work together to help you break free from self-doubt and learn to adult with confidence. Therapy sessions with me are aimed to make you feel as comfortable as possible. This means you can bring snacks, blankets, or fidgets, you can take breaks if needed, you can wear sweats, slippers, heels, or anything in between, you can put on music, adjust the lighting, diffuse essential oils, and sit on the floor or the couch. I am a believer that no matter where you start, you'll always end up exactly where you're meant to be. So please just show up, exactly as you are, and we'll figure out the rest together. We got this!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that at the root of all healing, is a need to nurture and love ourselves. I believe that everyone deserves to be loved and supported along their journey through life. My door is open to anyone who is looking for a warm and safe therapy environment. I work with people from all walks of life and participate in marches and community actions that support the LGBTQIA+ community.
