Accepting Clients

I see therapy as a coming together, an exploration, and a place to look inward - to see and be seen.

About My Clients

I work with teens, young adults, adults, older adults, family dyads, and pre-commitment couples in my office in Folsom, California and virtually. I enjoy working with clients who are curious, navigating identity challenges, and managing life transitions.

My Background and Approach

I received my BA in Communication and Studio Art from Cal Poly Humboldt, and my MA in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. My background is in hospice support groups, and my areas of interest and experience include identity, only children, complex or unusual family systems, creative hobbies and careers, queer parents, death, grief, hospice and end-of-life, competitive equestrian sports, boundaries, food service, theater, navigating higher education, and the general challenges of being a human.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist, I am warm, curious, and non judgemental. I am interested in challenging you gently, exploring different perspectives, and supporting you in zooming out and tuning in. My approach is deeply compassionate, sometimes whimsical, and tailored to your needs and goals. I believe in the inherent wisdom of the mind, body, and spirit, as well as the power of nature and creativity in healing and growth. It is an honor and a privilege to work with fellow humans in this way.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
