About My Clients

You’re used to handling things on your own. You show up, push through, and keep it together but underneath, something feels off in your relationships, your reactions, or your sense of control. I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating the lasting impact of trauma, especially when it shows up in close relationships. Many of my clients find themselves stuck in patterns, shutting down, overreacting, or feeling disconnected despite wanting something different.

My Background and Approach

Therapy with me is a collaborative process focused on understanding the emotional and relational patterns that shape your daily life. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment wounds, and survival strategies may show up in your relationships, self-esteem, emotional reactions, and a sense of identity today. Drawing from psychoanalytic, EMDR, and emotionally-focused therapies, I help clients to build insight, process difficult emotions, and develop a more connected and authentic way of relating to themselves and others. I view the therapeutic relationship itself as an important part of healing, growth, and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am especially passionate about working with men who feel affected by cultural expectations around masculinity, emotional expression, and identity. As a woman, I bring a unique perspective to conversations about masculinity and the ways it can shape individual choices, relationships, and emotional well-being. When men have meaningful access to mental health support, individuals, families, and communities benefit.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
