About My Clients
Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel like you’re constantly running on empty, stuck in fight-or-flight mode, or just trying to make it through another day? Maybe you’ve gotten so used to being the person who holds everything together that you’ve forgotten to check in with yourself. Therapy doesn’t have to be another thing on your to-do list. My goal is to help you step off life’s hamster wheel and find ways to navigate life’s challenges that actually make sense for you and your daily life.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and tailored to you, because what works for one person may not work for another. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR, to help you understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change beyond the therapy room. I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life’s unexpected challenges. Whether you’re processing the past, making sense of the present, or building confidence for the future, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered. One thing I encourage clients to remember is that not everything you think is true. Learning to question familiar thoughts and patterns can open the door to new perspectives and meaningful growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My desire to become a therapist started long before I knew what therapy really was. Even as a child, I believed everyone deserved to have someone. Someone who would listen, care, show up, and remind them they weren’t alone. As I grew older, I realized that not everyone has that person in their life. I knew I couldn’t be everyone’s someone, but if I could be just one person’s someone, that would mean something. That belief continues to guide the work I do today. I value authenticity, compassion, connection, and the importance of meeting people where they are, without judgment or expectations. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their circumstances or experience. I don’t believe people need to have everything figured out to be worthy of support. Sometimes, having someone in your corner who genuinely cares, challenges you when needed, and believes in your ability to grow can make a meaningful difference. That’s the kind of therapist I strive to be.
